AAA

Very fun, and polished! Kudos! I've played about halfway through the lava world, but I'll definitely return to finish the game. I haven't seen a good puzzle performer in a while.

Fun!

I really enjoyed this! The only change you should probably do is fixing up the ending. An impossible level seems like just a glitch -- this should either end after level 11, or give us at least 5 seconds for level 12.

wow

I'm not sure if I absorbed the entire significance here, but I seem to glean something new every time I play. A top notch insight into the mind of an artist.

Frankly, don't think you should make a sequel though. Imo, it would debase the existing product. What you've got here is a beutifully complex breath of fresh air, but even fresh air eventually goes stale if overused...

Huh

The jigsaw-puzzle-ness works really well, and is smooth to use. If you add other pictures that you can choose, within one game, this would be a great way to spend some time! I'd love to see a jigsaw game where you could choose a difficulty and a picture, with game mechanics just like this. I like the lack of extra clutter.

very fun!

Awesome game. I found fun in every mode except for the "turned out the lights" one... that one felt like it just became luck. I could be dodging everything that came my way, until suddenly I can't see more than a few pixels in front of me... now a fast-moving enemy will take me out, and there's no way I can avoid it without just getting lucky. It's actually annoying enough that I feel like I have to take 2 stars off the review for it.

Thanks a lot :)
Maybe i'm going to enlarge the spot of the "Who turn the light off ?" mode, it's a little hard with it

hmm

Great idea, and flawlessly executed, but unfortunately not the sort of thing that holds my attention for very long. Perhaps if it were made more complex, it would be more entertaining, but that might also have destroyed it's "clean" feel.

Actually quite fun

While the product placement is unfortunate, I find its really irrelevant to the quality of the game itself. Hell, most games have ads anyway. The game itself was fairly basic platforming, but quite fun. I wasn't once frustrated with the controls, which is a very good thing. It was easy, but I like that in a platformer. The graphics and feel were consistent and positive, with the amusing campiness, though that is one thing that the product placement did corrupt, since I was after all "playing an advertisement," the funny felt like TV-ad funny.

ChrisKempt responds:

Thanks!

The ad-thing is a wierd one, it would be great if we could just create games for the love of it but it's just not possible to pay tyhe bills that way, you have to put advertising in somewhere. Personally I think it's better if the ad is integrated as a sponsorship, it's a shame tyhat some people find it irritating.

Anyway, thanks again.

Cheers

fun

Pros: This is fun, innovative, and just the right level of difficulty.
Con: It moves fairly slowly. (Due to the unique gameplay, it takes time and effort to move around, and some people might get bored before they get addicted.)

Awesome

Really fun... Even after I beat it, once I realized that I'd have to attack the gravestones a little more if I wanted to play with more characters, I found further gameplay!

Also... is the bread just a pun on "beard"? Because if so, that adds another few stars to my existing 10.

BoMToons responds:

Astute observation on the bread, that was, in fact, our intent.

fun!

That was actually very interesting... especially for someone like me who _will_ attempt to break every brick or clear every balloon before they re-appear. The two black-and-white patterns with shifting patterns were incredibly addictive puzzles (to me, anyway). After my mouse marred the cleanliness, I just _had_ to get it all to one color again, somehow.

Several of those could be turned into actually fun mini-games. The ones with the bricks that revealed a further, larger layer of bricks underneath would be insane if it had several more increasingly small/distant layers, a time limit, and a counter.

I'd write something here, but only if it wasn't clever.
